Strategic Acquisition for ACT

Talent International has acquired the contractor book of the Canberra-based IT contracting business, OOSW.

ACT General Manager Baldev Bedi has been instrumental in identifying and negotiating the acquisition of OOSW, a consultancy company with a significant presence in Centrelink.

The acquisition, effective from 1 January 2010,  is highly strategic, as Centrelink is one of the largest Government agencies in Canberra, with a sizeable contractor base. We are delighted with this development as it places Talent in an excellent position to increase market share.

OOSW owner Phil Wilson said he had been looking to exit the business for some time and Talent International presented the best fit for the company.
