After recently reporting a record financial year, Talent has again been named in the Top 500 Private Companies, leaping from 96 to 87 on this year's list.
Talent also ranked 36 in the 50 best private enterprises by return on shareholder funds after tax.
Talent reported a group turnover of $640 million for FY19, and a year-on-year growth of 16%.
The Australian Financial Review and IBISWorld list is ranked by revenue and includes public unlisted companies, partnerships, associations and private companies. The research house gathers the data through primary research, ASIC-lodged company reports and its own appraisals of company revenue based on historic data and industry analysis.
Talent Founder and Chairman Richard Earl said the announcement reinforced the company’s global growth success and innovation mindset.
Earl said, “It’s very positive to see this strong financial growth and the recognition of Talent in and outside of the recruitment industry. As a company that started in a home office in Perth 24 years ago, we are proud to have taken our unique brand of recruitment to both Europe and the USA.”
Earl added, “I believe Talent’s success is largely driven by our desire to redefine recruitment by bringing the human element to the forefront of everything we do. We will continue to innovate with this focus and respond to the shift towards freelancers and the changing workforces of the future.”
In addition to a record year of financial results, Talent also took out 15 industry awards around the world. These include being the only recruitment company to be recognised in Gallup’s global top 40 Great Workplace Award winners. Other awards included Best Contribution to the New Zealand Tech Sector at the NZ Hi-Tech Awards, LinkedIn’s Most Socially Engaged Staffing Agency and Best IT/Technology UK Recruitment Agency at the Recruiter Awards
Mark Nielsen, Talent APAC CEO, commented “The continual improvement in ranking each year is testament to team excellence and our desire to break from the pack by providing the most rewarding and empowering experiences for freelancers and clients. We look forward to the year ahead and plan significant growth that will see Talent continue to climb the Top 500 Private Companies in Australia list.”
