Job Description

Talent International are currently recruiting for an experienced Admissions Support Officer to work for one of our NSW Government clients based in Meadowbank. This position is a temporary role for 2 months initially with the view to be extended. The role is paying an hourly rate of $30 per hour plus superannuation.

Key Responsibilities: 
  • Provide timely, accurate and appropriate information, advice and assistance on all aspects of North Sydney RTOs international student program to ensure a seamless and customer focussed enrolling program.
  • Plan, organise and coordinate the orientation and enrolment of new international students including preparation of orientation materials and assisting college international student coordinators to prepare and deliver orientation sessions.
  • Assist the International Student Services team with processing international student applications.
  • Provide a range of administrative and support services to the International Business Unit and students including enrolment, records management.
  • Organise activities to enhance the integration of new and continuing international students; in liaison with the North Sydney English Centre and the Student Association.
  • Plan, organise and coordinate orientation and farewell functions by identifying invitees, distributing invitations to staff and students, collating replies, ordering gifts, arranging catering and booking and preparing function venues.
  • Generate and maintain a range of statistical information on client enquiries, student enrolments and satisfaction data in relation to the North Sydney's international student program.
Essential Requirements:
  • Cultural awareness and experience in working with or providing services to people from non -English speaking backgrounds.
  • Ability to address and meet focus capabilities as stated in the Position Description.
  • Experience working in a tertiary education facility such as TAFE, college, registered training organisation or a university
  • Excellent communciation and interpersonal skills
  • Available immediately to interview and to commence.
