- Contribute to the software implementation and support reporting and integration components, across operational and support environments.
- Apply specialist knowledge related to data analysis, report design and data extraction to provide the reports required from the application.
- Contribute to the availability of the integration components by providing technical advice and assistance to other teams.
Key skills and experience required:
- Proven ability to solve problems, think creatively and laterally, exercise initiative and independent judgement in sometimes difficult and complex situations.
- Demonstrated ability to successfully work on multiple concurrent tasks, dealing within competing pressures, multiple stakeholders, unplanned change and meeting tight timeframes.
- Proven experience developing in WCF using Microsoft C# and/or J2EE using Java, XML / XSLT , plugins, data definition, database scripts and complex application configuration
- Proven experience with an RDBMS such as Microsoft SQL Server and tools used to extract and build the reports required to support business requirements.
- Proven experience with a version control system; preferably Subversion.
