Due to growth, our client based in Geelong is seeking an Assistant Director for their strategy realisation team. This role will report to a Branch Manager and be responsible for the delivery of strategic and operational activities to enable the client to deliver a world-leading insurance scheme for people with a disability. You will also be responsible and collaborate with stakeholders with the implementation/strategic execution of the client's strategy, using your solid experience in strategy execution and project management.

Other duties will be as follows
  • Manage and monitor performance against the Strategy Realisation Roadmap
  • Provide Secretariat support to the working group
  • Prepare progress reports and briefs as required
  • Provide project management/reporting guidance to delivery leads for  the program improvement activity within the Strategy Realisation Roadmap
  • Provide independent advice on the overall progress of the Strategy Realisation Roadmap
  • Manage the APS 6 Strategy Realisation Lead role
  • Engage and maintain strong working relationships with external stakeholders to support the integration of partner capability
  • Display and foster behaviors in line with the client's values and behavior charter.

  • Proven research and report writing skills
  • An ability to adapt quickly to an often changing environment.
  • A positive contemporary attitude to people with disability
  • Experience working within the disability or vulnerable people sector is highly regarded.
  • Experience diagnosing emerging issues, obstacles, opportunities and the strategic implications of an issue in the internal and external environment.
  • Experience in the government sector would be preferred.
*** This is a 12-month contract.
