Job Description

One of Australia's leading regional banks is currently looking for an Automation Tester to join the team on a 6 to 12-month contract. You will be responsible for providing technical and subject matter experience for ensuring the quality of the project.

  • Develop automated tests across all APIs that validate functionality, performance, security and availability
  • Develop automated tests across the API platform that validate availability, disaster recovery
  • Continuously improve automated testing for business solutions
  • Develop automation for creation/clearing of data in a banking domain
Your Experience
  • Must have experience of working in Financial Institutions
  • Skilled programming in C#, Gherkin
  • Skilled scripting in Bash, PowerShell, C#, JavaScript or Groovy, Specflow
  • A development background C# or Java
  • Experience with frameworks and tools like JUnit, Selenium, Cucumber, PostMan, SOAPUI,  Load Runner
  • Experience testing Web Services, API and mobile 
  • Experience with the Agile/DevOps working methodology
  • Knowledge of BDD and TDD techniques 
  • Passion - for all things internet, open-source software, security and cloud computing
  • Problem solving analytical skills
  • Provide assurance over software quality
Highly Desirable
  • Experience with CI/CD tools such as Octopus deploy, VSTS TeamCity, Jenkins
  • Experience of Performance testing
  • Experience in High volume online transaction processing
  • Experience integrating with ServiceNow platform
