Our Darwin based government client is currently looking for a Benefits Realisation Analyst for a 12-month contract role. 

The Benefits Realisation Analyst will:
  • Develop strong working relationships with internal and external business stakeholders and vendors, acting as the intermediary between the customer and project teams
  • Work as a member of the benefits realisation team with business units, managers and others responsible for clinical services delivery and services
  • Apply business analysis methodologies and tools in determining and documenting benefits realisation objectives, challenges, and plans
  • Facilitate workshops, interviews, focus groups and walk-throughs with the aim of eliciting information, obtaining validations and approvals
  • Take ownership of business analysis activities in the benefits realisation sphere and deliver outcomes on time, to expected quality standards and within scope, as agreed with Benefits Realisation Manager
  • Ensure status reports are accurate and submitted in accordance with program requirements
  • Conduct walk-throughs with stakeholders, obtaining validation and approval of plans and approaches

Skills & experience required:
  • Demonstrated extensive experience with benefits realisation and/or risk management, including experience gathering and documenting business requirements, and undertaking 'as is' and 'to be' gap and process analysis
  • Demonstrated experience working to tight timeframes, undertaking analysis activities and developing deliverables
  • Demonstrated ability to think critically and develop solutions and ideas to produce practical delivery plans
  • Evidence of being a "self-starter' and working constructively and autonomously to deliver previously agreed outcomes
  • Strong business analysis, communication, problem-solving and writing skills
  • Strong stakeholder engagement and relationship management skills
  • Ability to produce quality deliverables to agreed standards and to learn and make use of software tools to support program and project activities (eg. JIRA (Atlassian)
  • Ability to manage time and meet deadlines while balancing competing priorities
  • Experience and general familiarity with Health industry clinical terminology, business processes and systems
  • Proficient with MS office tools and experience and experience with or ability to quickly acquire skills in JIRA (Atlassian) and SharePoint
