Contract: Long Term 12 Month Contract + 6 Month Extensions
Daily Rate: Dependent on your experience

Mandatory:
  • 5 years' experience as a Business Analyst
  • Experience on projects designing and implementing new operating models for organisations, and/or public service organisations
  • Experience documenting detailed operating models, including decomposing into functions, processes, and communications/relationships of teams
  • Experience presenting detailed operating models and artefacts to support approval, acceptance, adoption and embedment within the organisation
  • Experience analysing and designing operational business processes
  • Experiencing working with a diverse stakeholder group including exec level stakeholders, ICT operations and technical teams, as well as customer facing and business operations teams
  • Experience working on large scale transformation programs with multiple vendors
  • Project experience as a BA in waterfall and/or agile like environments
  • Pragmatic, flexible, self-aware, resilient, proactive and results driven
  • Experience in managing requirements through their lifecycle (e.g. elicitation, traceability, prioritisation, communicating requirement intent, assessing change requests, supporting defect triage and identifying requirements gaps)
  • Experience as a BA supporting all phases of the delivery lifecycle from Initiation, Procurement and Tender stages through Design and Build, to Testing, Implementation and Transition to Operations
  • Experience managing requirements via Microfocus ALM/Quality Centre tools or JIRA/Confluence
Desirable:
  • Experience in technology operations areas leveraging ITIL and IT Service management practices
  • Management Consulting experience
  • Knowledge of Australian Public Service human resource policies and practices
  • Experience working with/supporting human resourcing areas to complete organisation design activities including updating role descriptions, career pathways, etc
  • Collaborating with and coaching vendors through business analysis activities
