The Business Process Analyst/Writer role will report directly to the Service Management Lead. The Business Process Analyst/Writer will work closely with subject matter experts in the service management team to develop and validate processes and then document processes and work instructions and maintain these as up-to-date documents. This role will be pivotal to achieving a significantly increased and continuously improving state of maturity in the portfolio management of service on behalf of agencies.

Skills and Experience
  • Evidence of the ability to understand the challenges related to the real-world application of procedures and work instructions.
  • Demonstrable skills and experience in developing and writing procedures and work instructions.
  • Evidence of a methodical approach to the development, classification and presentation of procedures and work instructions to ensure ready access.
  • Evidence of experience validating and maintaining documentation up-to-date to meet the needs of users.
  • Experience in the use of Jira, Confluence, and Sharepoint.
  • High level social and written skills with ability to effectively communicate with team members and stakeholders.
  • Ability to work in a large team environment with members of diverse cultures and backgrounds.
  • Self-starter with high personal drive and a positive attitude.
  • Disciplined and accountable for supporting and maintaining work products.
  • Behaves in a respectful and professional manner, maintaining high integrity and transparency when delivering work.
  • Excellent problem solver and critical thinker.
  • Promotes teamwork and collaboration by engaging stakeholders and team members.You will also;Deliver a prioritised list of procedures and work instructions to be updated or delivered on a six monthly cycle.
  • Develop a plan to complete the update and delivery of prioritised procedures and work instructions.
  • Publish and publicise procedures and work instructions as they are ready for consumption.
  • Build a high performing capability in the department to develop and maintain work instructions and procedures to a high standard.
