The Opportunity:

Our client NDIA is seeking a Business Support Officer to join their Participant Solutions Team. The role will be based around general administrative assistance to support day to day activities within the team and support Planners in their efforts to ensure that participants are informed and can access information to exercise their desired level of choice and control.

This Initial 14-month contract is an APS3 level offering $36.27 + superannuation on an hourly base and is based in Geelong.

Your responsibilities will include:
  • Management of telephone enquires, reception duties and appointment processes.
  • Manage and resolve a high volume of enquires.
  • Provide technical assistance and recommendation to colleagues in relation to policy and procedures.
  • Manage work priorities and performance using reporting tools.
  • Provide thorough information and effective support to internal and external stakeholders.
  • Undertake a range of data entry responsibilities.
  • Provide further ad hoc support where needed.

  • Experience in data entry.
  • Ability to and willingness to work in a virtual team and start-up environment.
  • A high level of proficiency in Microsoft Office software, specifically with Outlook, Word, and PowerPoint.
  • Ability to manage confidential and sensitive information.
  • Previous experience within a similar administrative role, providing support to team leadership.
  • Previous industry experience in government health or support services.
  • A jurisdictional Working with Children Check (WWCC) for employment purposes.
