We are currently looking for Business Transition/Change Managers x 2 for a contract with a commercial organisation based in Brisbane CBD. 2 roles are available: 1 x 6 months and 1 x 12 month contracts with likely additional extensions.

The Project:

You will join a large ticketing system program of work, which will transform the way customers can travel on public transport by delivering new innovative ticketing technology to Queenslanders. To support this change, the project will require all the current solutions on all buses, trains and ferries to be changed to new devices which will also bring with it a significant level of organisational change and retraining across the department and all impacted Queensland Transport Operators frontline and head office staff.

Responsibilities:
  • Develop the Change Impact Assessments specifying the scope and consequence of change that will result from the implementation across SEQ Transport Operators, Regional Transport Operators and relevant teams
  • Develop Change Management Plans
  • Evaluate and analyse the change capabilities of impacted stakeholders
  • Design, develop and implement solutions to build change capability in stakeholders, including communications, resistance controls, influencing solutions, etc
  • Creation of monitoring and evaluation solutions to assess change capability development
  • Maintain accurate documentation in accordance with appropriate record management polices
  • Contribute to and improve the change management tools and methodology
  • Apply continuous improvement mechanisms to support each of the go-live events
  • Contribute to the post go-live training support activities
  • Undertake any other duties associated with the above responsibilities or as assigned by the management team.
Requirements:
  • More than 5 years applied experience as a Change Manager, leading and facilitating organisational change across stakeholders with diverse needs and in a complex organisational environment
  • Experience with a minimum of 2 enterprise-level projects
  • Be able to lead change in complex, multi-year phased implementation
  • Support and engage with key stakeholders and relevant subject matter experts representing a broad spectrum of skills, job roles and authorities
  • Be adaptive to a changing project environment while remaining focused on achieving goals
  • Collaborate and take direction from the Program Change & Training Lead to ensure an overall co-ordinated approach to the development of change interventions to support the program
  • Coach and mentor project team members, management and internal staff on change management
