About the Organisation
Our client provides policy advice, analysis and other services to the Australian Government. This organisation is responsible for achieving various Government priorities across multiple areas of Australian life, which affects all within the population. This client is currently undertaking significant ICT related projects across a range of areas. The Information Technology Division (ITD) is responsible for developing and providing a wide range of services to support the business and operating environment of the department and some of its portfolio agencies.


About the Role
The role provides support to the Change and Release function. The successful applicant would provide support to the team and the Change and Release Manager in order to facilitate change risk analysis and communication in a multi-vendor environment.

Duties include
  • Communicate impacts of planned changes to various stakeholders
  • Provide reporting on planned changes and report post implementation
  • Engage with stakeholders to facilitate change testing including business verification testing
  • Undertake release coordination where required
  • Build and maintain effective working relationships with internal and external stakeholders.

Skills and Experience
  • Experience providing ICT Support in an operational or engineering environment
  • Demonstrated experience in stakeholder engagement
  • Demonstrated experience in Change and Release management
  • Experience working in Government, or providing services to Government agency preferred.

It is a requirement of this position that the successful candidate must be an Australian Citizen
