This key government department is looking for a Change Management Officer to join the team on an initial 4-week engagement with the possibility of extensions. You will be responsible for providing efficient and effective learning analysis, planning, development and delivery for a program of work and assist in change management activities as required.

  • Develop learning and development activities including information sessions, workshops and training to facilitate effective, consistent and informative training delivery
  • Assist in the coordination of activities of a cross-functional team to ensure development of necessary training solutions are completed on time
  • Establish networks and relationships within the department to define training needs and current training progress
  • Design, develop and review appropriate learning and/or learning materials on business systems, that assist staff to understand and apply their knowledge and training to practical workplace situations
  • Coordinate the planning, administration and resources necessary to prepare and deliver learning and development activities within agreed timeframes and to specified outcomes
  • Provide advice on contemporary learning practices and methodologies to senior management and if appropriate adapting or modifying to suit individual locations and learning needs
  • Evaluate internal and external learning and development activities and regularly monitoring feedback to assist improved learning methods and outcomes
  • Conduct training needs analyses and developing relevant training and development plans
  • Plan and support the provision of post implementation operational support with relevant staff
  • Report on training progress and outcomes
  • Evaluate and revise the training program, and assist in change management as required

  • Learning and training design and development methods/models
  • Instructional design capabilities
  • Training program administration
  • Analytical and problem solving ability
  • Understanding of change management practices and deliverables
  • Able to prioritise changing timelines and ensure deliverables align to business goals
