Highly skilled Cost Controller required for an initial 12 month contract. Our well known Perth based mining client offers the chance to join an existing team of like mind individuals on a high profile and long term project.

To be considered for this role you must be locally Perth based and be open to working on a FIFO roster of 4 weeks on and 2 weeks off.

Essential Skills and Experience Required:
  • 3-5 years' experience working in a similar cost control role in a large and complex environment
  • Ability to maintain costs within the Project Work Breakdown Structure (WBS)
  • Experience in developing budget estimates and providing timely and accurate project forecast reporting
  • Previous experience working in the mining sector a must
  • Strong internal and external stakeholder management skills
  • Demonstrated knowledge and experience with integrated computerised financial systems
  • High level organisational skills, resource management skills with the ability to prioritise workloads and meet deadline
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills along with extensive analytical and problem solving skills
  • Ability to facilitate the Change Management Process
  • Proficient in the use of Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook and SAP
  • Previous experience working in a FIFO role preferred
