Role Overview

As part of our Sales team, your role is to support them with technical expertise and guidance around a nominated (but not limited) set of vendors. These vendors have a technical foundation and require Information Technical skillset in order to best promote them to the market. The primary vendor is Extreme Networks. Other vendors include Aerohive Networks, Yubico Security, Dell Networks and Checkpoint Security software. Over time we may recruit more vendors in a similar category.

Duties & Scope of Role

Sales Account Management
The tasks here include calling resellers to discuss the nominated vendors, explain the products and service recruit them including getting them signed up as a customer, and helping them sell solutions. 

Pre-sales Technical function
Tasks here include building a BOM (bill or materials), processing a predictive site survey, raising vendor BID's, and building formal quotations. This will also include running demonstrations and pilot testing.

Post-Sales Support
Finally you will be required to work with our support teams on managing Post-Sales support including taking phone calls, remote support and working with the vendor to resolve problems.

Your Impact
Work with Account Managers to help sell Technical products and solutions
To present to small groups on all technical matters
To run quarterly training sessions for customers
Discuss, with credibility, competitive offers in the marketplace and position ours as the best alternative
Lead and support customer demonstrations that showcase our unique value
Interact with customers in a persuasive manner
Help with (chargeable and non-chargeable ) professional services . These will include (but not limited to ) Predicative Survey, Configuration, Commissioning, Remote support and more.
Provide technical demos and pilot to prospective customers
Provide design consultation and best practice guidance for rollout, implementation, and policy conversion during the pre-sales process.
Attend online and classroom training sessions, that are hosted by the vendor.
