Our client is a leader in their field and have a global presence. They currently have a large team in their data configuration space who influence, design, implement and maintain configuration items in the Data Asset Register (ServiceNow). As part of a friendly team, your role is to develop, maintain and enforce activates related to data configuration management plans, policies, directives and procedures ensuring beneficial changes are made with minimum disruption to IT services while ensuring configuration integrity.

To apply for this excellent opportunity you will need the following skills and experience to be shortlisted:
  • Strong stakeholder management experience
  • Project Management -experience with ownership of the project, set goals, milestones, and work towards the completion of these. Be able to give examples of a couple of completed projects end-to-end. Where possible projects with a data flavour or overtones of metadata management would be desirable
  • A background in data, databases, information, etc. would be relevant
  • UI development of any sort and at least some idea of automation concepts is very important. Dashboards, reports, data certification (ServiceNow module), email integration.
  • ServiceNow knowledge would be advantageous
  • Experience with or exposure to CMDB modules but using ServiceNow to store Data Asset data (Data Class, Data Subclass, and Data Repositories) is novel. Someone with the right attitude and aptitude, coupled with the willingness/capacity to learn.
  • ITIL Foundation Certification is desirable
  • Demonstrated success in defining, implement and evolving Data Governance methodologies and processes, with an emphasis in Data Configuration Management
  • Report management experience
  • Strong written & verbal communication skills
