Our client is currently looking for an NV1 cleared Systems Engineer to work on a large Defence project. Based in Adelaide, it's a long-term contract (2 years) and is being offered until October 2022.

Key deliverables of the role are:
  • Design and implement the Fault Identification and Engineering Change Process. The process will be capable of managing faults during the Acquisition Phase but scalable into transition to Sustainment and Operations.
  • Lead System Design Acceptance through upcoming Design Acceptance 'gates' which require the Chief Engineer endorsement, in accordance with the Project Design Acceptance Strategy.
  • Represent system engineering at the monthly meetings, including Project Controls Group and Requirements Briefs.
  • Provide Systems Engineering guidance, Engineering document development, Engineering document review and other Engineering duties as required to the engineering team.
  • Perform the role of SST lead systems engineer. Includes:
  1. Manage the Fault Identification and Engineering Change Process,
  2. Review and approve of engineering changes at the Joint CCB,
  3. Provide sound engineering advice to the Project Manager,
  4. Maintain Engineering Plans to comply with the capability requirements,
  5. Lead Australian Engineering discussions and presentations at the six-monthly International Working Group, and
  6. Close coordination with the Test & Evaluation Manager and other engineering personnel.
Essential criteria:
  • Proven Acquisition Systems Engineering experience
  • Proven System Requirements development experience
  • Excellent Written and Verbal Communication
  • Ability to travel interstate as required
  • Required Government Clearance NV1 - Negative Vetting 1
