Our high-profile Mining + Resources client is seeking an experienced Desktop Support Officer for an initial 12mont contract. The primary function will be to assist and enable the IT Site Support team to provide technical and professional assistance to customers on site.

Key Responsibilities;
  • Management of ServiceNow calls to ensure SLA's are met
  • Assist in the administration of the existing desktop computing systems and assist with communications network.
  • Respond to virus alerts in order to assist in maintaining a virus free environment.
  • Infrastructure upgrade or project work as scheduled.
  • Contribute to the ServiceNow knowledge base.
Skills / Knowledge sought;
  • 2+ years' experience in providing second level IT desktop support.
  • Certificate IV in Information Technology or equivalent industry experience.
  • Demonstrated technical understanding of a broad range of IT infrastructure environments.
  • Relevant technical knowledge of Windows 10 and Microsoft Office suite of products.
  • Relevant technical knowledge of Windows Server operating systems.
  • Relevant technical knowledge of IT infrastructure.
  • Ability to troubleshoot and resolve desktop hardware faults.
  • Knowledge of network infrastructure and basic network troubleshooting (desirable).
