Working with this large government department you will be based in a client support role and will primarily support client groups an the hiring Departments Government Business partner.  Support is primarily Windows 10 and O365 support and business group associated local and remote support & fix functions.

You will be responsible for: 
  • Deskside PC rollouts or reimages to enable the group to transition to a new business entity. 
  • Corporate iDevice and Android devices as well as "Bring your own Device' BYOD  devices.
  • Telephone support, coordination or fault resolution of remote clients work environments via Remote Connect tools.
  • Support for Laboratory and Semi isolated Information technology equipment.
  • Manage and implement computer systems including the establishment of operational procedures, implementing maintenance mechanisms and documents in accordance with standards and guidelines.
  • Provide quality software support to various local specialised software packages
  • Site ICT Information and awareness development
  • Regular monitor and review computer system effectiveness and make recommendations for improvements in information technology related strategies.
  • Assist in the management of the local network, instrument controllers, hardware and software associated with the groups monitoring products in collaboration with Software Engineers in the relevant teams.
  • Provide professional advice to management and staff as required.
  • Contribute to the ICT support function for partner staff and resources which includes the identification and resolution of issues associated with computers, network communications, printers and software.
  • Manage regular revision of and updates to the PC Supportability Dashboard
  • Manage annual reviews and updates to the business continuity plans for core, localised software packages such as Replicon, Who's In, Workwise and Qudos.
Your Experience: 
  • Prior experience in telephone servicing metro and regional clients, in an environment using Information Technology Service Management frameworks and derived service processes (e.g. ITIL).
  • Broad-based PC and Software deployment and support experience for both SOE Corporate built PCs and free built PCs (Laboratories and DMZ)
  • Strong Windows 10 and Office 365 experience
