We are currently seeking a experienced .Net Developer to join a government department that is focused on increasing economic participation by providing advise and support.

The .Net Developr will work within the Digital Transformation Program to deliver cohesive, customer-focused, technology solutions. 

6 Month contract + possible extension
Based in Brisbane CBD
Great Hourly Rate

You will:
  • Lead the development of the SMS solution components in the department's AZURE environment. This will include the development of a microservice to support the SMS function
  • Understand AZURE architecture concepts and utilise AZURE services to provide solutions for the SMS microservices
  • Ability to create test scripts and test cases for unit testing during the development lifecycle
  • Be able to review Queensland Government ICT standards and ensure that developed systems meet these standards

The ideal candidate will:
Have a background in:
  • utilising MS .Net and AZURE products (Event Grid, Service Bus, Functions, Storage, REST API's, DevOps pipelines)
  • API integration
  • code lifecycle management - GitHub or similar
  • creating Agile stories and backlog to manage the development lifecycle
  • experience using agile PM tools such as Jira and Confluence
  • creating unit testing scripts, test cases and contributing towards overall test plans
  • Demonstrated experience in AZURE cloud-based projects, including ability to use AZURE tools to develop using common design patterns such as CQRS.
  • Demonstrated experience in using developer tools (DEVOPS) and GIT management to develop and release code updates
