Our client is looking for an experienced Ecommerce Technical support engineer who comes from a development/system engineering background with experience on IBM Websphere.

The ideal candidate will have the following experience;
  • Excellent all-round communication skills
  • Leadership and autonomous working mindset
  • OS flavours such as UNIX, Solaris, LINUX
  • SQL skills
  • Database experience with Oracle, DB2 or MySQL
  • Exposure to web applications such as Java or PHP
  • Log management tools
  • Unix scripting (e.g. perl and bash)
  • Excellent customer service skills and a good understanding of customer focus and updates
  • Incident and problem management is beneficial (preferably ITIL)
  • Good time manager and able to multi-task
  • Excellent delivery focus and commitment
  • Team player, able to learn/adapt quickly and take responsibility

 If you know some of this even better!
  • JDBC skills
  • Experience working with hosting organisations
  • Experience with Magento
  • Experience with IBM's platforms such as WebSphere
  • Performance analysis and diagnosis
