Talent International is working in partnership with a government organisation in assisting in sourcing an Events Coordinator on a contract based in Sydney.
Demonstrated experience in event operations, in particular outdoor events with participation of 5,000.
Demonstrated experience in event concept development, planning, stakeholder management and execution
Demonstrated experience with procurement and supplier management for event operations and logistics services. Experience and understanding of local, state or national government procurement processes is also preferable.
Highly developed written and oral communication skills and the ability to provide clear and concise written and verbal advice/information and interact with a broad range of staff and external stakeholders.
Ability to balance competing priorities, work to deadlines and to respond in a flexible manner to work requirements.
Available to work evenings and on weekends when required.
Computer literacy and experience in spreadsheets and word processing.
The ability to work independently and display initiative, as well as in a flexible manner in a team environment.

· Experience with Adobe Illustrator
· Experience executing event marketing and publicity strategies
