About the Organisation
Our client is a CBD-based government department with a number of high-profile projects that require multiple resources to support the delivery of new functionality and upgrades to corporate systems to ensure sustainability. These systems will enable our client to efficiently develop and implement national policies, programs and initiatives to support and educate all Australians.


About the Role
We are looking for experienced Full Stack Web Developers. As a full stack web developer, you will be involved in design, development, coding, customisation, configuration, testing, and deployment in support of public facing government web sites. The successful candidate should be competent in frontend web development with modern reactive JavaScript frameworks as well as backend development using .NET and SQL technologies.
The candidate must be a strong team player, demonstrating flexibility and agility in meeting stakeholder needs and through supporting team members in delivering high quality services.


Skills and Experience
Experience developing and delivering public facing web applications with the following technologies:
  • ASP.NET MVC / .NET Core
  • JavaScript / Typescript / JQuery
  • Frontend frameworks including React, Vue or Angular
  • CSS frameworks including Bootstrap
  • Microsoft Web API / REST Architecture
  • SQL / Entity Framework
Desirable criteria
  • CI/CD Practices
  • PowerShell automation
  • TFS
  • Experience with concurrent development source control (Git)
  • Solution Design Patterns and Best Practices, e.g. SOA
  • Unit / Automated UI testing
  • Understanding of Software Development Life Cycle and Agile methodologies.
 It is a requirement of this position that the successful candidate must be an Australian Citizen and currently hold minimum Baseline Security Clearance.
