An Overview of the Role:
Our client has a well-established operation here in South Australia with a national presence looking to take their business to the next level. This rare and pivotal opportunity will work closely with the Director on strategy and innovation, as well as maintaining the day to day running of the business as a whole.

Self-motivated, dynamic and results-driven will be the key attributes for the General Manager to possess in order to direct and manage business activities and to develop and implement effective business strategies to maximise growth and revenue.

Essential Requirements: 
  • Tertiary qualified with Bachelor's degree in business management or related field 
  • MBA (preferred) 
  • Sales Marketing qualifications (preferred)
  • Proven problem solving and analytical skills
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Excellent ability to relate to all levels within the organisation
  • 7+ years as General Manager or similar managerial role 
  • Experience with operations of $25 million plus company 
  • Working within a stringent workplace WHS framework 
  • Implementing company policies and procedures 
  • P&L experience

  • High-level communication, written, collaboration & delegation skills 
  • Strong leadership and managerial qualities 
  • Strong decision-making capabilities 
  • Ability to identify and raise the standard within the business 
  • Strong analytical ability 
  • High knowledge of business functions 
  • Exceptional budgeting and finance skills including ATO regulations 
  • Meticulous attention to detail 
  • An outstanding people person who can demonstrate results through leadership, relationships and commercial  acumen 
  • Moderate understanding of ICT systems 
  • High level of understanding around sales processes including sales strategies, inboundoutbound sales, CRMs (preferred)
  • High level understanding of marketing including SEM, Website design, SEO, branding, direct marketing, inbound marketing (preferred)
