Job Description

This is an initial 12-month contract joining one of Australia's best energy sector organisations; you'll be providing first and second level support to a local and remote user group. What You'll Be Doing
  • Provide technical support to approx. 250 end users through a mixture of face-to-face and in person customer service
  • Manage infrastructure deployments to ensure corporate standards are met
  • Work with vendors to assist with procurement of IT assets
  • Complete troubleshooting activities, identify, repair and resolve end-user technical issues related to networks/printers/desktops/laptops/smartphones
  • Assist in support activities for audio-visual equipment set-up for meetings
  • Effectively utilize a ticketing system (ServiceNow) to prioritize support requests and provide timely status updates to end-users
  • Provide the highest level of customer service to a diverse range of end-users
Your Experience
  • Significant demonstrated experience providing first and second level support to a Microsoft Windows desktop environment (Windows 10)
  • Proven success in supporting remote access tools
  • Ability to provide support to a range of hardware and infrastructure including Desktops/Laptops/Printers/Networks/Servers/iPhones
  • Skilled in setting up audio-visual equipment for meeting rooms (Crestron experience highly regarded)
  • Confident providing support to Skype for Business, Windows Servers, Office 365, Intercall, and Microsoft Teams
  • Customer focused with the ability to demonstrate active listening skills, empathy, and facilitate collaborative working environments
  • Ability to work on-call in tandem with other desktop employees to provide high availability services
  • Relevant degree in Information Technology
  • Experience in the energy/mining/resources sector is highly regarded
