Talent International are currently recruiting for a Capabilty an Role design Specialist/ HR Advisor to work for a NSW Government organisation based in Sydney CBD or Gosford. This position is a 6 month contract initially with the view to be extended and is paying a daily rate between $350 - $400 per day plus superannuation. 

If the candidate is based in Sydney they will be required to travel to the Gosford office once a week and if Gosford based then will require to travel to Sydney Office once a week.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Identifying current role descriptions for roles and/or current role descriptions that would align to needs
  • Providing expert advice to promote and standardise role descriptions acrossmultiple roles with a common function
  • Providing expert advice and feedback on naming conventions and the contentand format of role descriptions
  • Updating and maintaining the Cluster role description tracker, library and RD development register
  • Undertaking job evaluations and peer reviews
  • Providing ANZSCO and PCAT codes for role descriptions
  • Providing coaching to improve capability in the writing and review of role descriptions
  • Contributing to the development of resources and guidance materials to support role design
To be successful in this role you will need:
  • Experience in role design and evaluation
  • Accreditation in Mercer Job Evaluation and remuneration benchmarking
  • Ability to work autonomously with a high level of attention to detail
  • Experience in job evaluation methodology
  • Relevant qualifications and /or demonstrated relevant industry experience
  • Demonstrated ability to collaborate with key business stakeholders to facilitateorganisation effectiveness
  • Ability to balance meeting customer needs while complying with required roledesign standards
  • Experience in influencing and negotiating mutually satisfactory outcomes
  • Strong working knowledge of Excel to extract, interpret and represent data
