Our client an established and well-regarded company based in Melbourne's CBD is seeking an Implementation Coordinator / Service Transition Coordinator to join their team.

Commencing on an initial 6 month contract, this role will see you working with the Senior Implementation Manager to engage with business stakeholders and delivery teams throughout project delivery to support implementation and deployment planning activities across the project. You will ensure technical changes are raised and executed in line with the organisation's standards including attending change meetings to co-ordinate and gain approval for the implementation, deployment / go-live activities.

Key responsibilities
  • Lead assigned subtasks required to achieve successful implementation of project outcomes, meeting timelines and within budget requirements 
  • Contribute to implementation plans and options as required to delivery successful deployments for the solution, ensuring these remain aligned to the approved implementation strategy
  • Work with technical and business stakeholders to gather requirements and other inputs necessary to formulate and achieve implementation activities
  • Collaborate with Change Management team to ensure their dependencies are met and timelines are appropriate
  • Raise and manage ITIL change activities to ensure technical implementation and go-live are delivered in line with approved plans, including attending technical reviews and change advisory boards
  • Update and maintain implementation documentation, ensuring lessons learned from Development and Pilot activities are reflected in later runbooks for Test and Production activities

Key skills required
  • Previous experience in service transition roles within enterprise environments
  • Previous experience working in test and production environments
  • Knowledge of DevOps culture
  • Ability to understand and liaise with technical staff
  • Excellent communication skills and stakeholder engagement
