As part of this Infrastructure Services team you will be responsible for providing third level technical support services to ensure the effective delivery of the Help Desk service. You will take responsibility for daily operational tasks to ensure the smooth operation of the technical infrastructure and maintaining the continuity of access to corporate systems.

Key accountabilities
  • Provide 2nd and 3rd level technical support ensuring response times within agreed service level targets
  • Responsible for the provision and maintenance of a current and reliable server and storage infrastructure
  • Implement technical changes to the production environment 
  • Proactive monitoring and reporting for the technical infrastructure
  • Contribute to improving process quality and service turnaround times
Skills and experience
  • Experience providing 2nd and 3rd level support to end users and helpdesk in a similar infrastructure support environment
  • Demonstrated understanding of a number of the following: Windows 2012 & 2016 Server, Active Directory & Group Policy, VMWare vSphere 6.7, Cloud computing methodologies, Microsoft Teams (implementation and support)
  • Demonstrated PowerShell scripting capabilities
  • A commitment to the sharing of technical information
  • Tertiary qualifications in Information Technology, industry qualifications such as MCSE certification and ITIL certification
