Your brand new role with the government body will be to embed the use and governance of Jira and Confluence across the organisation. You will have an opportunity to assist in the design, customise Jira dashboards, create custom workflows and fields and create customised reports to improve the Portfolio, Program and Project experience.

Key accountabilities
  • Assist in enhancing the organisation's Jira and Confluence tools, including native functionality as well as researching, testing and implementing requests for new Jira functionality
  • Create custom workflows, post functions and validators, make changes to workflows, screens, fields and reporting 
  • Provide ongoing support and configuration maintenance
  • Responsible for all administrative requirements ie. adding and removing user groups, managing and reviewing permissions 
  • Assist with adding and removing user groups, managing and reviewing permissions 
Skills and experience
  • A minimum of  12 months experience with Jira project administration access
  • Scripting experience in groovy, javascript, etc.
  • Proven track record with Atlassian installations, migrations and upgrades
  • Good working knowledge and understanding of the specifics of the software applications with the ability to interpret and translate business requirements to Jira
  • Demonstrated ability to design, develop and implement improvements to systems/procedures
  • Good knowledge of system configuration, applications and processes 
  • Excellent time management, prioritisation and organisational skills, with the ability to meet tight deadlines
