We are currently working with a global fintech who are one of the largest in their industry globally. With just over 4,000 people globally, their Sydney office is still just under 50 people with a huge push on culture and working cohesively.
At present they are looking to hire 2 new roles, which will be the first two hires (one more junior) in region for their Engineering team. The Technical Operations team has grown steadily over the last 12 months and to ensure 24/7 support globally, Sydney is the last piece of the puzzle.
Operations, DevOps, Incident Management, Monitoring & Dashboard Management. Their Engineering culture is still maturing so you will have the opportunity work on a number of upcoming projects with the global team (currently 10 people). The role will be regular office hours with 1 weekend on call every 6-8 weeks. You will receive time in lieu of this in addition to 25 days annual leave.
Their Sydney team almost replicate the business on a smaller scale as they have a number of functions including Sales, Customer Success, People & Culture, Marketing, Legal and Finance. So if you prefer not to be surrounded by techies all day, this is worth considering!
