As the Noc Engineer you will be accountable for managing and resolving customer impacting faults, both of an immediate, intermittent and long term nature.

Key Accountabilities:
  • Be available on a 24/7 rota
  • Resolve customer faults within SLA
  • Liaise with various Service Desks, CFUs and BUs, including National and International Carriers, both in the acceptance of customer faults and to drive customer faults through to resolution
  • Liaise with other fixer groups within the Network Management Centre (NMC), Networks, Field Operations, Exchanges, Tier 2, Engineering and Vendors, to drive customer fault resolution
  • Perform network analysis and fault trending for the early detection of service impacting faults, in turn delivering maximum service availability
  • Escalation of faults to relevant fixer group in accordance with procedures and guidelines
  • Escalation of Major Outages to the Incident Control Group (ICG)

  • Mobile/RAN

  • Network various network and Equipment experience ie Nokia, Huawei, Cisco, Ericsson, etc
  • Various Systems and vendor tools - ie HP Service Manager 9
