Our high profile mining client requires an experienced Procurement Specialist who is Perth based to manage the creation and execution of key supplier GFA's (Global Framework Agreements)/contracts on an initial 6-month contract with potential extensions. This will involve significant engagement and collaboration with stakeholders to ensure that the procurement outcomes align with business needs and requirements. 

This is a great opportunity for an individual who has; robust Procurement and Contract experience, a proactive attitude, can visualise the 'bigger picture' and is results-driven through the delivery of tangible value.

Required Experience and Skill Set:
* Experience in drafting, negotiating and executing high value/complex contracts (ideally global)
* Stakeholder and supplier management 
* Tender negotiation and comparison experience
* Ability to build astute negotiation plans for approval 
* Team player with the ability to work with minimal supervision
* Ability to contribute to the sourcing and category strategy 
* Possess strong interpersonal skills and can effectively influence and manage potential conflict in a constructive and effective manner 
* Extremely strong communication skills (written and verbal) 
* Mining industry experience
* Any costing skills highly desirable 
* Ideally some exposure to fixed equipment
