Job Description

Talent International are currently recruiting for a Project Administrator to work for one of our NSW Government clients based in Parramatta. This position is a 12 month contract and is paying between $45- $50 per hour plus superannuation. 

Purpose of Role: 
The purpose of the role is to deliver efficient and effective customer-focused administrative and business services, with a key focus on records management. The role-holder will be an integral part of a small team responsible for the provision of government and executive services in an often high-pressure and high-volume work environment with competing stakeholder demands and changing work priorities. 

Key Responsibilities: 
  • Supporting the accurate and timely delivery of a range of administrative and business services as part of a broader administrative team, including reception services, in compliance with relevant legislation, policies and procedures. 
  • Assisting in the receipt, triage, allocation and tracking of correspondence in line with established principles. 
  • Assisting in the preparation of timely and accurate correspondence responses. 
  • Providing efficient and effective management of records that adequately document business activities in accordance with established operational guidelines, government regulations and recognised best practice standards across the Commission. 
  • Providing oversight of file and information creation, tracking and disposal processes and procedures to ensure the effective management, access to and retrieval of the Commission's records. 
  • Providing a high level of records management support across the Commission to ensure the preservation of the confidentiality, integrity and availability of records. 
  • Working collaboratively to develop and deliver record-keeping resources and training for staff to improve knowledge and compliance of record keeping responsibilities. 
Essential Requirements: 
  • Extensive experience in records management systems, particularly TRIM (CM9) with a sound knowledge of government record-keeping legislative responsibilities. 
  • Experience in recording, monitoring and coordinating correspondence and requests, with a demonstrated eye for detail. 
  • Demonstrated time management skills with the ability to work flexibly and manage competing priorities.
