About the Organisation
Our client is a Federal Government agency tasked with the development and delivery of programs, policies and initiatives which aim to improve and uphold Australia's law and justice framework. This includes working closely with other agencies across law enforcement, national security, emergency management, disaster relief and more, providing expert support, legal advice and representation and domestic and international policy.

About the Role
The Project Support Officer will have experience supporting ICT projects with a personable and positive attitude.
You will responsible for:
  • Undertaking diverse administrative processes including managing and maintaining project registers, databases, electronic files and records to ensure compliance with government policy
  • Experience in project planning, risk and issue management
  • Monitoring project schedules and budgets, preparing progress reports and liaising with key stakeholders
  • Logging, managing and analysing information on the progress of the project
  • Experience in financial services including dragging procurement documents, monitoring purchasing activities and maintaining summary databases
  • Organising meetings and room bookings, preparing and submitting agendas
  • Day to day administrative activities

Skills and Experience
  • Ability to work under broad direction and meet allocated technical, business and/or projects objectives independently and as part of a team
  • Ability to support a fast-paced ICT project team
  • Ability to be flexible and make priorities around demands of the day
  • Ability to perform an extensive range of project support activities including procurement and general administration
It is a requirement of this position that the successful candidate must be an Australian Citizen and currently hold minimum NV1 Security Clearance.
