Due to growth our client based in Geelong or Melbourne CBD is seeking a Project Support Officer to assist on a large initiative to further improve their service to the Australian community. This is a newly created team which will be responsible for commissioning and managing a range of programs to ensure they achieve demonstrable outcomes for people with disability across Australia.

Working in a team lead by an Assistant Director, you will be working closely with internal and external stakeholders to drive effective implementation of four Programs which will be rolled out over 2019 to 2022. You will bring a positive attitude to delivering this significant agenda, communication and analytical skill, stakeholder management, and project management skills.

To apply for this opportunity you will need the following skills and experience:
 
  • Previous experience in a similar Project Support environment or similar position
  • Experience with dealing with government policy and programs
  • Capability to manage effectively in a fast-paced working environment
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Have managed both internal and external stakeholder on project-based work
  • Experience identifying and contributing to the resolution of issues and problems as they arise
  • Experience supporting the development of accessible communication materials
  • Relevant tertiary qualification are desirable
  • Experience in the disability sector would be a bonus
