To meet current demand, our client are seeking the skills of an experienced Scheduling Support Officer to Schedule field work to be carried out in the next the short term to achieve work completion that meets the requirements of the organisation.

Here you will maintain and/or monitors work status information in SAP PM and provide advice to fieldwork supervisors on work completed work, progress and incomplete work.

Key duties;
  • Schedule field work to be carried out and dispatch new work orders received throughout the day including urgent customer work.
  • Update the work management system (SAP PM) with the progress of field work and progressively monitor work status during the day.
  • Effectively communicate with Service delivery staff including team leaders to optimise the delivery of maintenance.
  • Advise Regional Planner of issues regarding planning actions.
  • Provide advice to the Regional Work Planner on the notional capacity of each resource group within the district.
  • Identify and secure specialist requirements.
  • Support fieldwork supervisors to identify and secure special equipment and or materials required for upcoming work, schedule and dispatch that work in line those individual job plans.
  • Monitor completion of scheduled work in line with the Regional Work Plan and report anomalies to the Regional Planner.
  • Monitor and facilitate "re-planning' of work not completed within the assigned fortnightly package - Provide ongoing advice to the Regional Work Planner.
  • Facilitate the management of work order through their lifecycle.
  • Investigate and compile field work data to support supervisors with work order feedback validations and corrections. Improve field crew understanding of the business requirements for operational data and to improve data collection work practice and process.
Skills/Background/Qualifications required:
  • 5+ years' experience as a Scheduler in large environments.
  • Experience in  the implementation of safety systems and ensuring a safe work place
  • Current WA "C' class drivers licence.
  • Relevant experience in the interpretation of engineering plans and the scope of work to be undertaken in the field.
  • SAP PM experience or similar.
  • Experience in SAP maintenance planning.
  • Shows the ability to analyse system data for trends, impacts and anomalies and can facilitate and drive corrective action in data, work practices and business outcomes.
  • Demonstrates good computing skills, is able to use Microsoft suite of systems.
