Our client is currently going through a major expansion phase in their Perth based operation. Offering an opportunity to be an integral part of their organisation with multiple responsibilities they are looking for a Security Analyst with a real passion for this space.

The Senior Security Analyst (SecOps) is responsible for all aspects of the Cyber Security environment, which includes the identification and management of cyber threats, the mitigation of cyber risk and the safeguarding of sensitive information within their critical IT systems.

You will be responsible for areas including:

Key Responsibilities
  • Ensure the security of all their networks, resources and applications, both internal and external
  • Work with the Software Development Team in developing secure applications
  • Maintain and enhance their ISO 27001 Information Security Management System
  • Provide and revoke access to their networks, resources and applications as needed, in line with our Information Security Management System
  • Test the security of all Systems on an ongoing basis including auditing software and related dependencies
  • Resolve potential security issues in accordance with the Information Security Management System
  • Proactively monitor vulnerability alerts relating to libraries used by the company
  • Ensure all staff are aware of their information security obligations
  • Aggregate logs and monitor system access and requests
  • Develop Security training material for internal and external consumption
  • Liaise with external providers on security related matters
  • Support business improvement initiatives
  • Assist the team with ad-hoc projects/reports
Experience required
  • 5+ years of full-time work experience in information security analysis or related functions and proven ability to understand a complex, diverse and distributed IT operations environment.
  • Tertiary degree qualified (Information technology)
  • Proven capability in Vulnerability Management and Threat Intelligence
  • AWS Cloud Security experience (beneficial)
