Our client based in Armadale is seeking a Senior Helpdesk Officer to join their team on an initial 3-month contract with view to extend.

Commencing ASAP, this role will see you leading a small helpdesk team in addition to providing level 1 support activities. The technical and systems support comprise over 700 business unit users across a Wide Area network operating in the support of a host of systems and applications. Operating environment is based on Windows 10, Exchange 365 and Office 2013.

Key responsibilities:
  • Leading a small helpdesk team to deliver quality services and continual improvement
  • Level 1 support activities to diagnose and resolve users' technical issues
  • Setting up helpdesk reporting and operational performance monitoring
  • Improve service quality through driving knowledge management, streamlining and automating processes
  • Measuring and improving customer satisfaction
Key skills required:
  • Strong knowledge of PC hardware and related peripherals
  • Skills in supporting of all versions of Microsoft Windows Operating Systems
  • Strong knowledge and experience in group Policies, Active Directory user Management, Office 365 Active Directory (emails and MFA)
  • Experience with mobile device management (iOS)
  • Excellent communication skills and time management skills
The role is an initial 3-month contract with an additional 3-month extension, with potential to extend past 6-months. Salary range is $30 to $40 per hour (including super), dependant on experience. 

The successful candidate will hold Australian PR or citizenship and be able to complete a Police Check with the outcome suitable to the position. In addition, the successful candidate will currently hold or be eligible to complete a Working with Children Check.
