Working for this high profile Melbourne instition as a Senior Systems Administrator you will provide analysis, design, development, implementation and support functions to all applications within a large Portfolio. You will also be responsible for Release Management and Environment Management for all applications.

Your brand new role will see you coordinate with DevOps teams to deliver releases through the SDLC into production, as well as ensuring all production and non-production environments are appropriately patched and functioning to expectations.

Key Accountabilities
  • Coordinate Release Management for all applications to ensure efficient delivery
  • Define and enforce version control of source code
  • Participate in implementations and upgrades
  • Coordinate and lead installations, upgrades, patching and configuration
  • Ensure availability and good performance of production and non-production environments
  • Identify problem areas and implement solutions to ensure minimum impact to business and users
Skills and experience
  • Solid experience in Salesforce System Administration
  • Experience in cloud deployment and management (especially AWS)
  • Significant experience in a similar role managing environments and releases for a large team
  • Experience working in an Agile/DevOps culture
  • Understanding in Continuous Integration (CI) and experience with CI tools such as Jenkins
  • Solid understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle with extensive experience in enterprise application system support
  • Good knowledge and understanding of industry best practices for Release Management
  • High level understanding of server hardware, Linux and Windows operating systems
