Job Description

This well-known Melbourne institution is seeking a Unified Communications Engineer with a strong background in voice and telephony. Your brand new role will see you working as a leader in service management and fault resolution across a mix of projects and operational activities.

Key Accountabilities
  • Design, monitor, and support the Unified Communication environment to provide an effective and reliable service
  • Collaborate with key internal/external partners to support architectural road maps
  • Maintain and drive knowledge and understanding of key industry trends in Unified Communication
  • Troubleshoot problems with Unified Communication Infrastructure and make corrective actions when necessary
  • Effectively manage risks and issues associated with infrastructure design

Skills and experience
  • Experience working on large-scale and technically challenging Unified Communication projects and operations
  • Strong experience in Unified Communication solutions including Microsoft Infrastructure, Digital Signage, Video Conferencing, and PBX solutions
  • Expert knowledge of PSTN, SIP, and IP telephony
  • Strong experience in Sonus SBC Gateways or related technologies
  • Experience in Skype for Business, Microsoft Teams, Avaya Contact Centre, or related technologies
