Due to new business growth, we are seeking an experienced Solution Architect , for our dedicated client, a global consultancy. You will be working for a dedicated banking customer based in the CBD, but will be WFH (working from home) due to the current climate.

The preferred candidate will have:
  • 7+ years' experience in a large and complex organisation - preferable with a background in financial services
  • Extensive and demonstrated previous experience with solutions architecture, business and systems requirements, and technical design and analysis in a complex and maturing technical environment;
  • Experience with process documentation for Architecture
  • Experience with contemporary business technologies and architectural frameworks in a multi-sourced and/or federated operating environment;
  • Demonstrated experience in developing solutions using cloud services (including infrastructure) across AWS/Azure stack such as EC2/VM, VPCs/VNet, RDS/Azure SQL, SNS, Kubernetes, API Gateway/Management, Microsoft 365 and Lambda/Function
  • Enterprise Architecture Frameworks qualifications (e.g. TOGAF, Zachmann) or demonstrated understanding
  • Experience in IM&T architecture & design approaches (e.g. concept, logical, physical) and able to apply a pragmatic and agile approach to solving business problems
  • Excellent interpersonal, oral and written communication skills including report writing and presentation skills with emphasis on developing quality integration specifications for a range of business stakeholders
  • Proven ability to evaluate stakeholder requirements and develop and present solution options (including effort estimates) to senior management and various stakeholders
  • Experience and knowledge of industry standard development methodologies, tools, and techniques
  • Superior analytical, conceptual and problem-solving skills
  • The ability to seamlessly work with modern position-based tools and techniques
  • Preferred:
  • Masters or equivalent qualification in Business Information or Enterprise Information Technology
  • Agile and PRINCE2 qualifications
  • Understanding of Machine Learning/AI concepts
