The Systems Engineer will utilise strong analytical skills/debugging techniques and structured analysis to troubleshoot and resolve service issues through structured fault finding techniques. The Systems Engineer will perform root causes analysis of problems and action Change and Problem requests. 

The successful candidate will need to have:
  • 5+ experience in Desktop Engineering, preferably within an enterprise level or vendor environment
  • Strong experience with enterprise deployment and management tools (i.e. SCCM)
  • Strong experience in integrating and deploying drivers, BIOS and other updates into a managed fleet
  • Experience facilitating large and enterprise scale SOE management.
  • Hands-on experience with Active Directory & Group Policy Management
  • Scripting ability (PowerShell, VBScript, Batch, TSQL)
  • Managing change and incident in a ITIL environment.
  • Incident Resolver - 3rd level support of SOE related Incidents and work orders. Take ownership of high priority issues and assist others when is required.
  • Technology Support - support and troubleshooting for SOE/SCCM related issues, daily monitoring any uncertain/unexpected issue occurred within SCCM/SOE and remediate within the possible timely manner (or provide advices and options to upper management)
  • Transition - Project to BAU Transition activities including process, defects, testing, meetings
  • Knowledge management  - assist with create KBA, consulting KBA, define BAU support activities
